also, this was a highlight of my night.
tonight there was a presentation in our party room to a bunch of eye doctors and there was a speaker talking to them all about new issues with glaucoma patients.
so of course, SOMEONE just had to come in and say to me at the hostess desk “i’m here for the glaucoma party.”
i kid you not, i laughed for about a minute straight before i was able to speak properly again.

i'm thinking of just making a bed at work because...
i got there at 5am this morning for my baking shift and only just got done my hosting shift at the restaurant. i got to go home to change my clothes and take a short cat nap in between, but really just sleeping at either the bakery or the restaurant would have made my life so much easier. probably the restaurant because it’s nicely air-conditioned.
i’m pitching this idea to my boss...
